Natalie Strum is a public school art teacher and visual artist. She paints people, animals, places and objects that bring her joy. She utilizes expressive brush strokes to capture their energy and celebrate their beauty.
She grew up in western New York and has lived all over the country. She graduated with a degree in visual arts and illustration and went on to get a master’s in education. She has had many creative jobs, but the one constant is making art. She now lives in Roanoke, VA with my family and animals. They often become the subjects of her work. She has been featured in solo and group shows, has illustrated for children’s storybooks, and has been featured on product designs. She is in collections in Virginia, California, New York and Maryland. Both individuals and businesses collect her paintings. |
